Day 8 - I'm not worried.

Ok, so weight today was 229.4. Which is up from 2 days ago. I just chalk it up to my scale sucking :P. I'm more interested in trends. I think you need at least 4 days to establish one. So we'll see where I'm at on Day 9!

Breakfast: Banana 90 cal
Lunch: Soup 240 cal
Dinner: chicken & Rice 363 cal
Snack: Oreos 150 cal, cake 100 cal
Today: 943
Total to Date: 7721

  1. Have you changed your activity level much in the quest to lose weight again? I just read a really well-written article the other day about the perils of sitting. It basically said that people who stand and/or walk throughout the day, but don't do other exercise are healthier and weigh less than people who exercise for an hour a day but otherwise sit all day. This was cool for me to hear about because I don't like exercising OR sitting. The article also discussed a study on men who were walking more than 10,000 steps per day and were asked to cut back by taking elevators, driving when they would usually walk somewhere, etc. In only TWO weeks, they gained a bunch of pounds. It was really amazing. I can find the article and send it to you if you want.

  2. Yes, I'd love to read the article. Post the link here. My activity level hasn't changed. Unfortunately, my job is very much the sit still kind. What about 30min of exercise?
